Job summary

Bridgestone New Zealand Limited is seeking a hands-on Support Manager for our Rotorua store. You will lead from the front, support your team, and drive sales while maintaining Bridgestone’s high standards.

You’ll bring automotive/tyre industry knowledge, strong leadership, and a customer-first mindset. A full NZ driver’s licence is required to operate across the store’s duties and duties. This role offers competitive remuneration and career progression within Bridgestone.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive or tyre industry with mechanical aptitude.
• Proven leadership or people management experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stay calm, focused, and solutions-oriented under pressure.
• A full, clean New Zealand Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Store Manager in leading and developing a friendly, high-performing team
• Driving sales performance and contributing to store profitability targets
• Delivering expert technical advice to customers on products and services
• Building strong, lasting relationships with customers and ensuring every experience is a good one
• Maintaining a safe, well-presented store environment in line with Bridgestone standards
• Receiving, checking and dispatching stock in line with supply schedules, and keeping the Store Manager informed of any shortages or excesses
• Ordering stock as required and maintaining accurate, secure stock records
