You will greet guests, check in/out, process reservations, provide information, and coordinate with hotel departments. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and a professional appearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Excellent communication, computer skills, spelling and grammar.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand and residing in the country.
• Eye for detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude upon arrival.
• Checking guests in and out efficiently, processing reservations, and handling payments accurately.
• Providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guests' experiences.
• Handling guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintaining an organized and clean reception area.
• Collaborating with other hotel departments to coordinate guest services.

Marsden Hotels & Resorts offers a range of hotel and resort brands across New Zealand all designed to make you wake up feeling wonderful. We have 6 different brands including the international brands of Ramada, Wyndham Garden, and Microtel. We have 15 hotels in key cities including Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Wellington.

We are currently recruiting for two of our Marsden properties in Queenstown. These are Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham and Wyndham Gardens Queenstown, both located in the thriving precinct of Remarkables Park in Frankton, with bus stops on the door step.

Guest Services Assistant

We are seeking two full-time GSAs to join our Reception teams. You will be working on a rotating roster which includes shift work, weekends and public holidays.

As a Guest Services Assistant you will have strong interpersonal skills and must work well in a team environment, have the ability to work well under pressure, and an eye for detail. Excellent communication skills, excellent computer skills, spelling and grammar are a must.
