Job summary

Market Hospitality Group Ltd in Napier is seeking a Duty Manager to be the heartbeat of our restaurant and bar during service. You will oversee front-of-house operations, drive guest satisfaction, and work closely with the Head Chef and General Manager to uphold award-winning standards.

You will mentor servers and hosts, ensure service quality and safety, and collaborate with the kitchen to time dishes perfectly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in upscale dining, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Experience leading teams and delivering high-touch hospitality.
• Familiarity with reservation systems and POS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead Daily Operations: Oversee front-of-house service, reservations, and floor management with grace under pressure.
• Elevate Guest Experience: Anticipate needs, resolve issues swiftly, and create moments that turn first-time visitors into loyal advocates.
