Job summary

Sojourn Apartment Hotels in Wellington seeks a hands-on Guest Experience Host to warmly welcome guests, assist during their stay and leave a lasting impression at Sojourn Riddiford. This full-time role requires hospitality know-how, strong communication, and pride in delivering exceptional service.

You will work with a small, passionate team, handle check-ins/outs, reservations, and guest inquiries, and promote local experiences.

Qualifications

Front office or hospitality experience (serviced apartments or hotel preferred, minimum), enabling guest check-in/out and service excellence.
Experience with PMS systems (RMS preferred) and good IT skills for reservations and inquiries.
Willingness to work rostered shifts including weekends, evenings and public holidays; strong presentation and guest care orientation.

Responsibilities

Welcoming and engaging with guests throughout their stay.
Check-in and check-out processes; handling reservations and amendments.
Resolving guest requests and concerns with care and efficiency.
Promoting hotel facilities and local experiences to guests.
Supporting daily front office and hotel operations; coordinating with housekeeping and management.
