Foodies in Auckland is seeking a Group Accounting Lead to drive accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance and financial control. You’ll lead the Group Accounting team, partner with Finance and the wider business, and own month-end consolidation and external audits.

The role requires NZ IFRS expertise, SAP experience, and a proactive improvement mindset to standardise processes across the group. Join a collaborative finance team and help shape robust financial processes across Foodies’

Qualifications

• CA qualification with a degree in Accounting, Commerce or related discipline.
• Significant financial accounting experience within a large or complex organisation, including consolidated group reporting.
• Strong experience delivering month-end and year-end close, statutory reporting and external audits.
• Strong working knowledge of NZ IFRS to apply standards to complex transactions.
• Leadership experience, prioritisation, and coaching of team members.
• Experience driving finance process improvements through automation or technology.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise systems is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end month-end process including consolidated group reporting.
• Oversee day-to-day Group Accounting activities and general ledger integrity.
• Lead half-year and annual statutory reporting and external audits.
• Apply NZ IFRS and provide accounting guidance.
• Drive process improvement, standardisation and automation.
• Coach and support the Group Accounting team.
• Partner with Finance stakeholders to resolve process issues.
