Job summary

As a Graphic Designer within AIA New Zealand’s in-house Creative Studio, you will bring the AIA brand to life through innovative and engaging design across print, digital, UI, and motion. You will collaborate with Marketing, Brand, Product, Distribution, Events, and Communications to deliver customer-focused experiences that support business goals and strengthen brand consistency.

Your Impact

• Create innovative design solutions across print, digital, UI, and motion channels that elevate the AIA brand and support business outcomes
• Deliver high-quality creative assets that engage audiences and provide consistent, customer-focused experiences
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to transform briefs into effective and impactful creative outcomes
• Develop and maintain scalable UI frameworks in Figma that enhance usability and strengthen digital brand consistency
• Produce compelling motion graphics and video content that support campaigns, communications, and customer engagement
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying smarter ways of working and leveraging approved AI-enabled design tools and processes

Your Capabilities

• You have experience delivering high-quality design work across print, digital, and visual communication channels
• You bring strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma, with an understanding of user-centred design principles
• You have the ability to build productive relationships and collaborate confidently with a diverse range of stakeholders
• You bring strong organisation and prioritisation skills, balancing multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail
• You have a growth mindset, enjoy exploring new technologies, and seek opportunities to continuously improve your craft
• You may also have experience in motion graphics, video production, UI/UX design, or digital performance principles such as SEO and SEM
