Job summary

AIA New Zealand's in-house Creative Studio is seeking a Graphic Designer to bring the brand to life across print, digital, UI, and motion design. You will collaborate with Marketing, Brand, Product, Distribution, Events, and Communications to craft high-quality customer-facing experiences that support business goals and reinforce brand consistency.

You will develop scalable UI frameworks in Figma, create motion graphics for campaigns, and continuously improve workflows using AI-enabled design

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering high-quality design across print, digital, and visual communications.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma with understanding of user-centred design principles.
  • Ability to build productive relationships and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation to balance multiple projects with attention to detail.
  • Growth mindset and interest in adopting new technologies to improve craft.
  • Motion graphics, video production, UI/UX design, or digital performance knowledge (SEO/SEM) is a plus.

As a Graphic Designer within AIA New Zealand’s in‑house Creative Studio, you will bring the AIA brand to life through innovative and engaging creative solutions across print, digital, UI, and motion design. Working closely with teams across Marketing, Brand, Product, Distribution, Events, and Communications, you will create high‑quality customer‑focused experiences that support business goals and strengthen brand consistency. This is an exciting opportunity to influence how customers connect with AIA, contribute to creative excellence, and continue growing your skills in a collaborative environment that embraces new technologies, user‑centred design, and continuous improvement.

Your Impact
  • Create innovative design solutions across print, digital, UI, and motion channels that elevate the AIA brand and support business outcomes

Your Capabilities
  • You have experience delivering high‑quality design work across print, digital, and visual communication channels
  • You bring strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma, with an understanding of user‑centred design principles
  • You have the ability to build productive relationships and collaborate confidently with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • You bring strong organisation and prioritisation skills, balancing multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail
  • You have a growth mindset, enjoy exploring new technologies, and seek opportunities to continuously improve your craft
  • You may also have experience in motion graphics, video production, UI/UX design, or digital performance principles such as SEO and SEM
