Job summary

AIA New Zealand seeks an Enterprise Delivery Programme Lead to drive end-to-end delivery of major business and technology initiatives, partnering with sponsors, leaders and delivery teams, and coordinating with external partners to achieve shared outcomes across complex programmes.

Your Role with Us

As Enterprise Delivery Programme Lead, you will play a pivotal role in delivering AIA New Zealand’s most significant business and technology initiatives. Working closely with sponsors, business leaders, delivery teams and external partners, you will bring people together to achieve shared outcomes while navigating complexity with confidence. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Delivery, you will lead end-to-end delivery across multiple strategic initiatives, balancing governance, risk and value realisation. This is an opportunity to influence enterprise-wide change, strengthen organisational capability and help shape the future of how AIA delivers meaningful outcomes for customers and colleagues.

Your Impact
  • Lead the successful delivery of complex strategic initiatives that align with organisational priorities and deliver measurable business value
  • Build trusted partnerships across business, technology and vendor teams to create alignment and drive outcomes
  • Coordinate delivery activities across multiple initiatives, balancing priorities, dependencies and resources to maintain momentum
  • Drive informed decision-making through clear reporting on scope, timelines, financials, risks and delivery performance
  • Manage risks and issues proactively to support quality outcomes, compliance requirements and delivery confidence
  • Champion continuous improvement by enhancing delivery practices, tools and ways of working across the enterprise
Your Capabilities
  • You have extensive experience leading complex programmes, projects or delivery initiatives across business and technology environments
  • You Bring strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, building trust and alignment across diverse groups
  • You have the ability to navigate complexity, assess risks and make sound decisions that support successful delivery outcomes
  • You Bring expertise in planning, prioritisation and coordinating work across agile, waterfall or blended delivery approaches
  • You may also have experience within financial services, insurance or another highly regulated environment
  • It is great if you hold a qualification in Business, Technology or a related discipline, along with project management or agile certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP or Scrum certification
