Job summary

AIA New Zealand is seeking a Graphic Designer for our in-house Creative Studio. You will craft brand-aligned design across print, digital, UI, and motion, partnering with Marketing, Brand, Product, and Communications to deliver customer-focused experiences.

You will shape scalable UI in Figma, create motion content for campaigns, and champion user-centred design while embracing new technologies and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• You have experience delivering high-quality design work across print, digital, and visual communication channels.
• You bring strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma, with an understanding of user-centred design principles.
• You have the ability to build productive relationships and collaborate confidently with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• You bring strong organisation and prioritisation skills, balancing multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
• You have a growth mindset, enjoy exploring new technologies, and seek opportunities to continuously improve your craft.
• You may also have experience in motion graphics, video production, UI/UX design, or digital performance principles such as SEO and SEM

Responsibilities

• Create innovative design solutions across print, digital, UI, and motion channels that elevate the AIA brand and support business outcomes
• Deliver high-quality creative assets that engage audiences and provide consistent, customer-focused experiences
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to transform briefs into effective and impactful creative outcomes
• Develop and maintain scalable UI frameworks in Figma that enhance usability and strengthen digital brand consistency
• Produce compelling motion graphics and video content that support campaigns, communications, and customer engagement
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying smarter ways of working and leveraging approved AI-enabled design tools and processes
