Job summary

The Creative Store - New Zealand is seeking an intermediate designer to shape brand identities and contribute to design systems from our inner Auckland studio. This full-time, in-studio role places you within a design team and into the strategic thinking behind the work.

You will collaborate with clients and suppliers, manage deadlines, and stay curious about different design programs beyond Adobe CC while developing digital and print brand work in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience building brand identities.
• Proficiency in Adobe CC and Figma.
• Experience designing for digital and print.
• Strong creative instincts and willingness to push the work further through conversation and experimentation.

Job description

We are looking for an intermediate designer (at least 4 years’ experience), who has experience creating brand identities and working within design systems.

This is a full-time, in-studio role based in inner Auckland, where you will be working within a design team and contributing to the strategic thinking behind the work.

What you will do:

• Help create brand identities and systems for clients
• Design across the full spectrum of brand touchpoints, including websites, digital brand applications, print, physical objects, and environmental spaces

You are someone who:

• Is comfortable liaising with clients and collaborating with suppliers to complete and deliver jobs
• Has the ability to manage their time to meet deadlines
• Is always curious and looking at other design studios and relevant work
• Is interested in learning and exploring different design and creative programs outside of Adobe CC
• Is comfortable with briefs shifting as the job develops

Your background:

• 4+ Years experience building brand identities
• Proficiency in Adobe CC and Figma
• Experience designing for digital and print
• Strong creative instincts and willingness to push the work further through conversation and experimentation
• Interested in all manners of art and design, not just graphic design
