Gather Recruitment – Auckland, North Island

This is a full-time, in-studio role based in Tāmaki Makaurau.

Our client is looking for an intermediate designer with at least four years in a role, who has experience in creating small and large brand identities and working within design systems. Park of the studio design team this role will contribute to the strategic thinking behind the work.

The role:

• Help create brand identities and systems for our clients.
• Design across the full spectrum of brand touch points including websites, digital brand applications, print, physical objects, and environmental spaces

You are someone who:

• Is comfortable liaising with clients and working with suppliers to complete and deliver jobs.
• Has the ability to manage their time to meet deadlines
• Is looking at other design studios and relevant work
• Is interested in learning and exploring different design and creative programs outside of the Adobe Suite
• Is comfortable with briefs shifting as the job develops

Ideal experience and skillset:

• 4+ Years experience building brand identities
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Figma
• Experience designing for digital and print
• Strong creative instincts and willingness to push the work further through conversation and experimentation
• Interested in all manners of art and design, not just graphic design
