Job summary

Omexom New Zealand in Auckland seeks a Graduate Engineer to deliver technically-sound drawings, specifications, reports and investigations for construction and tendering needs. You will work closely with the team to produce cost-efficient engineering outputs and contribute to project success.

You will prepare documentation, support ISO 9001 and the OM19 design control procedures, review work, assist with conceptual designs, and provide technical help to estimators and project teams while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical engineering with power systems.
• Aptitude in engineering design and strong analytical abilities.
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory/industry requirements and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technically appropriate drawings, specifications, reports and investigations.
• Support projects under ISO 9001 and Design Control Procedure OM19.
• Review engineering work and advise on design outputs.
• Assist with conceptual designs and procurement activities as required.
• Provide technical support to estimators, engineers, maintenance and project managers.
