Omexom New Zealand in Auckland (Albany) seeks a Project Planner and Coordinator to align project activities with Project Managers, customers, and design teams. The role focuses on safe, efficient methods and on coordinating resources to meet program requirements.
You will contribute to scoping, estimating, pricing, and reporting while supporting budget control and risk management across ground-mounted and underground distribution assets.

Full-time, permanent contract with a minimum of 40 hours guaranteed per week Monday – Friday.

Plan and coordinate project activities alongside Project Managers, customers, design teams, and technical staff
Develop and implement safe, efficient, and cost-effective work methods and procedures
Coordinate resources and project delivery activities to meet program requirements
Provide leadership, guidance, and technical support to field teams
Assist with project scoping, estimating, and pricing activities
Support project reporting, scope variations, and claims
Identify, assess, and manage project risks
Contribute to inspection, testing, and commissioning documentation
Monitor project costs and support budget management
Ensure all work complies with contractual, safety, environmental, and quality requirements
Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and key stakeholders
While the role is primarily focused on maintenance and project activities associated with ground-mounted and underground distribution assets, it also provides exposure to a broad range of work across the Auckland Distribution Network, with opportunities to support and coordinate overhead maintenance and project activities as required.
