Job summary

Stantec’s Auckland office is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to begin a 2-year development programme focused on 3 waters projects. You’ll contribute to design work, gain exposure to feasibility through construction, and learn from seasoned engineers across a supportive, diverse team.

Based in Auckland, you’ll work on wastewater, drinking water, and stormwater projects, using CAD/Civil3D, and grow your engineering credentials with mentorship and professional support.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or due to graduate in 2027.
• Strong interest in water engineering and sustainability.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to work in teams.

Responsibilities

• Work across the project lifecycle from concept to design and construction monitoring.
• Gain exposure to project and client management.
• Collaborate with national and international experts on local and international projects.
• Develop designs and drawings using CAD/Civil3D and analyze hydraulics of pipelines.
