Job summary

Argenta is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to maintain production equipment and site facilities at our South Auckland site. You will work under the Engineering Team Leader to ensure smooth operation, drive improvements, and uphold GMP, health and safety standards.

You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, and coordinate with contractors. The role requires 3+ years in a regulated manufacturing setting and strong problem-solving skills, with on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a similar role within pharma/manufacturing
• Background in GMP environment
• Experience with computerised systems (ERP)
• Familiar with Health & Safety standards (HSE) and food safety

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and non-routine maintenance on production equipment and site facilities
• Engage with external service providers to improve facilities and reliability
• Reduce breakdowns and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HSE and food safety standards
• Support production teams to minimise downtime and maintain equipment performance
