Job summary

Cates Grain & Seed Ltd in Ashburton, South Island, is seeking an Export Documentation and Logistics Coordinator to join our established team. The role focuses on coordinating shipping, export documentation, seed schedules, and ensuring all paperwork meets import requirements.

The successful candidate will work autonomously, manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records across systems and spreadsheets, and deliver responsive service to customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• High level of data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks to deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication and relationship-building.
• Experience with export documentation and logistics preferred.
• ProDoc experience an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate and process shipping and export documentation in line with export and destination-country import requirements.
• Coordinate seed cleaning schedules.
• Update documentation across internal systems and multiple spreadsheets.
• Maintain seed test results and grower contracts.
• Take ownership of work and deliver responsive service to internal and external stakeholders.
