Job summary

Kirk Roberts Consulting is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our Tauranga team. You will work across the full project lifecycle, from site investigations and analysis through to design, reporting and site observations during construction.

You will deliver geotechnical investigations, analysis, design and reporting, manage residential and land development projects, and collaborate closely with clients, consultants and the wider project team in a close-knit environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience within New Zealand.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Tauranga.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit team, getting involved across a broad range of work, and working collaboratively to deliver practical geotechnical solutions for our clients.

You’ll work closely with our Team Leader and Graduate Engineer, playing an important role in supporting project delivery across a varied pipeline.

About The Role

About You

• BEng Civil or equivalent specialising in Geotechnical
• Minimum of 5 years experience within New Zealand
• Proven experience in shallow and deep foundations, slope stability, retaining structures, and ground improvement
• A practical approach to problem solving and project delivery
• The ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment
• A willingness to get involved and support the wider team
• Thrive on challenges and motivated to provide innovative solutions for our clients
