Specialised Engineering Services, part of Higgins, is seeking an experienced General/Mechanical Engineer to join our Palmerston North team. You will perform repair, maintenance and mechanical work across sprayers, trailers and bulk-tank machinery on a varied set of projects.

We offer a permanent role with 40 hours per week, a supportive team, KiwiSaver matching up to 4%, and opportunities to upskill and gain licenses. Drivers required; a drug-free workplace is in place.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in general or mechanical engineering.
• National Certificate in General Engineering, Mechanical – L4.
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Welding certification to AS/NZS ISO 9606.1:2017 (advantageous)
• Full, clean Class 1 NZ driver’s licence (Class 2, forklift, and DG endorsements are a plus)
• Skills in mechanical, maintenance and servicing of machinery.
• Strong commitment to health and safety – for yourself, your team, and the public

• Undertaking engineering works on new plant and machinery for the bitumen transportation and application industry.
