Job summary

Specialised Engineering Services in Palmerston North is seeking a skilled General or Mechanical Engineer to join the team. You’ll work on repairs and maintenance for sprayers, trailers, and bulk tank machinery, plus engineering on new plant and machinery for bitumen transport and application.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in the field, an appropriate NZ qualification, and a strong focus on health and safety. A permanent, full-time position is offered with growth opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in general or mechanical engineering is required.
• Welding certification is advantageous.
• Clean Class 1 NZ driver’s licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintenance and mechanical work on sprayers, trailers and bulk tank machinery.
• Undertaking engineering works on new plant and machinery for bitumen transport and application.
