Job summary

Amazon Web Services New Zealand Limited is seeking a hands-on AI Specialist Solution Architect (SSA) to help customers design scalable GenAI/ML and Agentic solutions on AWS.

As a trusted technical advisor, you will lead complex engagements, craft cloud-native architectures, and mentor teams while collaborating with customers, partners, and the AWS Technical Field to turn AI ambitions into production-ready implementations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years design/implementation or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 5+ years in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• Hands-on experience with AWS ecosystems (Bedrock, AgentCore, SageMaker) to set up secure, private-network AI environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on deep dives and technical workshops.
• Advise customers on security, cost, performance and reliability of GenAI/ML workloads.
• Voice of the customer: share needs to influence the AWS GenAI/ML roadmap and features.
• Create and share best practices, reference architectures, and educational content.
