Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a hands-on AI Specialist Solution Architect (SSA). SSAs are technologists with deep domain-specific expertise, able to address advanced concepts and feature designs. This role focuses on turning AI ambition into scalable cloud programs.

You will lead technical relationships, guide GenAI/ML deployments, design secure, cost-efficient architectures, and evangelize best practices through workshops and content.

Qualifications

• 7+ years design/implementation/consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 5+ years in software/cloud/engineering/infrastructure/security experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS ecosystems (Bedrock, SageMaker) to set up secure AI environments.
• Experience implementing AI solutions with LLMs, vector stores, RAG, MLOps.
• 6+ years designing/implementing production AI systems.
• 5+ years managing technical, customer facing resources.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted advisor relationships with customers to maximize cloud adoption of GenAI/ML.
• Manage the overall technical relationship with customers, advising on security, cost, performance, reliability.
• Represent customer voice to influence roadmap for GenAI/ML features.
• Define cloud-native GenAI/ML architectures for diverse use cases.
• Create and share best practices, technical content, and reference architectures; evangelize GenAI workloads on AWS.
• Lead hands-on deep dives and workshops, contributing reusable code and assets.
