Bakers Delight Christchurch is seeking a passionate and skilled baker for a full-time position with a minimum 30 hours per week. The successful candidate will help produce bread, pastries, and other treats daily, and uphold high hygiene and quality standards.

You must be willing to work overnight shifts and rostered weekend shifts, have at least two years of relevant experience or a Level 4 qualification, be a NZ citizen/resident or hold a NZ work visa, and join a proudly locally owned bakery.

Qualificações

• Two years of relevant baking experience or a Level 4 qualification.

Responsabilidades

• Consistently deliver high standards of products in the bakery by checking the hygiene of the equipment and operation of the premises before production starts.
• To precisely monitor the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients.
• To carry out the general daily tasks timely which includes kneading, maturing, cutting along with moulding and mixing the dough and pastry goods as per the shape/size requirements.
• Ensuring the correct procedures and measures for preparing the pastry fillings.
• To determine the baking time of the products in the oven by carefully monitoring the oven temperature and relative product appearance.
• To keep the system arranged by coordinating the process of forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products.
• Ensuring exceptional presentation of buns and pastries, including the decoration of cakes with cream and icing.
• Must be able to operate the machines to roll and mould dough and cut biscuits.
• To be able to empty, clean and grease the baking trays, tins and other cooking equipment
