Job summary

Docuvera is seeking a Software Engineer to join our core engineering team in a distributed, global setup. You’ll contribute to full-stack features across Angular and Node.js, using AI tools to accelerate development while ensuring quality and security for highly regulated content.

You’ll work with product owners, designers, and engineers in an Agile squad, participating in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement as our platform scales for life sciences customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining both front-end and back-end applications in production.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code with unit, integration, and quality testing.
• Confidence using AI coding tools to support development, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Familiarity with AWS, containerisation, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of scalable system design, API development, data modelling, and modern databases.
• Experience working in cross-functional Agile squads and delivering from requirements to release.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, OWASP principles, and regulated software requirements.
• Strong accountability, communication, problem-solving, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain features across the full stack (Angular frontend, Node.js backend, AWS infrastructure).
• Write clean, well-tested production-quality code, using AI agents to accelerate development while validating outputs.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, QA, and DevOps to deliver features in Agile sprints.
• Build with compliance in mind, supporting audit trail integrity and traceability for regulated customers.
• Help improve system reliability, observability, and performance.
• Follow secure coding practices aligned with OWASP and Docuvera's security standards.
• Communicate progress and blockers early and clearly.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
