Job summary

Concord Visa in Auckland seeks a Senior Engineer to join the product team, building a modern full-stack JS platform and AI-enabled features across frontend, backend, and API integrations.

You'll collaborate with immigration lawyers, QA, and ops to scale workflows across jurisdictions, focusing on security, data governance, and high-judgment tooling while advancing AI capabilities and internal tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building software, ideally on SaaS platforms or in growth startups.
• Experience with modern JS frameworks (TypeScript, React), strong experience with SQL-based databases, and familiarity or exposure to AI/LLM frameworks.
• A problem-solving mindset. You thrive on untangling complex problems and delivering elegant solutions.

Responsibilities

• Platform development: Build across the full stack (frontend, backend, AI, third-party APIs) on a modern JS platform, shipping features that streamline how our business operates.
• AI R&D & integration: Explore, validate, and implement LLM-powered features in both customer-facing and internal workflows.
• Product shaping: Design workflows, automations, and features that scale globally with domain experts to support immigration workflows.
