Job summary

Concord Visa is looking for a capable full-stack developer to join its Auckland product team, building on a modern JS platform (TypeScript, React, Hono, PostgreSQL, Mantine). You’ll own features from client-facing visa workflows to internal tools and will apply AI/LLM capabilities in production.

You’ll work with immigration lawyers and ops to solve real problems across jurisdictions, with a strong emphasis on privacy and data isolation. Senior engineers and the CTO support your growth.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years building software professionally, ideally on web apps or SaaS.
• Experience with modern JS frameworks (TypeScript, React) and SQL-based databases.
• Genuine curiosity about AI/LLMs and interest in production use cases.
• Product-first mindset; care about user experience and performance.
• Strong written and verbal communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop across the full stack (UX, backend, APIs) on a modern JS platform.
• Contribute to AI-assisted features in customer-facing and internal workflows.
• Collaborate with immigration lawyers and case managers to translate workflows into software.
• Prioritize privacy and data isolation, supporting multi-jurisdiction requirements.
• Improve internal tooling, testing practices, and development workflows.
