Taipa Beach Resort in Northland, Taipa, seeks a Front Office Supervisor to lead daily front desk operations and support the Front Office Manager. You will work with reception and other departments to ensure seamless guest arrivals and departures and to deliver a memorable guest experience.

Taipa Beach Resort, nestled on the picturesque Doubtless Bay, offers a unique blend of serene beachside relaxation and easy access to Northland's attractions. Guests can unwind by the beach or pool and explore nearby historic sites, scenic walks, and cultural experiences just moments away.
This resort provides a wide array of accommodations, including studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments, amounting to a total of 32 bedrooms. Moreover, it features a vibrant conference and events venue.
As the Front Office Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of the front office department. Assisting our Front Office Manager, you will work closely with reception staff and other departments to ensure a positive guest experience from arrival through departure.
The successful applicant will have excellent organizational and time management skills whilst being flexible and responsive. They will have a true passion for delighting guests by building a unique guest experience where they are prepared to go that extra mile.
This is a full-time permanent position, offering a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Welcome and assist guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring their needs are met and any issues are promptly resolved.
Ensure effective day to day operation of the reservation systems and front office procedures.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly, finding appropriate resolutions and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Supervise and assist with training a team of dedicated front office staff.
Collaborate with other departments, such as Housekeeping and Maintenance, to address guest issues if they occur.
Stay updated on hotel services, facilities, and local attractions to assist guests with inquiries and provide recommendations.
Experience in a Receptionist or supervisory role, preferably within a hotel or upscale hospitality environment.
Strong customer service skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
