This stunning boutique hotel is looking for a hands-on Duty Manager to join Fable Dunedin Front Office team. If you have a genuine passion for delivering superior guest service at all times in a warm, friendly manner and your attention to detail is second to none, this might be a perfect role for you!!
This role will suit somebody who is continuously willing to learn and who strives for excellence within the team. Your rapport with guests is excellent, and you have a proven record of exceptional customer service skills.
Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring guests’ satisfaction and comfort
Oversee daily Front Office responsibilities and operations
Manage Front Office team in the absence of management
To be a role model for the team and lead by example
Maintain effective communication among the team and with other departments
Ensure guest requests and complaints are handled professionally
Checking guests in and out
Able to upsell products and services, as well as implement all active promotions and offers appropriately
Previous experience as a Duty Manager in a luxury hotel environment
Reliable and punctual
Can-do, positive attitude that consistently delivers exceptional guest engagement
Ability to make quick and accurate decisions in demanding situations
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multi-task
Experience with Clarity and/or Opera PMS is preferred
A current LCQ or Manager's Certificate
Good understanding of the legislation regarding current Health & Safety, Fire Safety, NZ Licensing laws, NZ Employment laws
A full NZ Driver License is advantageous but not necessary
