Job summary

New World in Hawke's Bay is seeking a team member for our Butchery and Seafood departments to ensure displays are fresh, well-presented and fully stocked while delivering friendly service to customers.

This is a full-time permanent role with Sunday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm, in a busy supermarket environment. You will maintain cleanliness, follow food safety standards and support day-to-day department tasks.

Qualifications

• Providing excellent customer service.
• Stocking and maintaining Butchery and Seafood displays.
• Rotating stock and checking dates.
• Following food safety, hygiene and Health & Safety requirements.
• Previous experience in butchery, seafood, fresh foods or retail would be an advantage.

About the role

You’ll be working across our Butchery and Seafood departments, helping ensure our displays are fresh, well-presented and fully stocked while providing friendly service to our customers.

This is a fulltime permanent Role.

Days and hours are:

Sunday-Thursday

8am-5pm

Previous experience in butchery, seafood, fresh foods or retail would be an advantage, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
