Job summary

Wolf Hospitality Group in Queenstown is seeking high-energy Front of House staff for Blue Kanu, a legendary Pacific Fusion restaurant. You’ll thrive in a buzzing venue, delivering food and beverages with speed and a smile while maintaining the dining and bar areas.

Knowledge of coffee and beverages, bar equipment, and a friendly, efficient service style are essential. Applicants must be based in New Zealand and be flexible for late-night or extra shifts within rostered times.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of coffee and beverages with quality and speed
• Understanding of bar equipment and how it works; keep maintained
• Ability to deliver food and beverage to tables on request
• Able to keep glassware, tables, and service areas clean and stocked
• Knowledge of the restaurant menu and offerings
• Friendly, prompt service to customers
• Attend to customer queries courteously and efficiently
• Keep barista area and dining area clean, tidy and organised
• Ensure all items are charged correctly and accounted for
• Follow NZ Health and Safety regulations and Food Control Plan
• Be flexible for late-night hours or additional shifts
• Comply with liquor licensing laws
• Attend staff meetings

Responsibilities

• Understanding of all the equipment behind the bar and how it all works correctly and ensure that it is maintained at all times
• Able to deliver food and beverage to tables as and when required
• Clean tables and collect used glassware and crockery
• Ensure there is always an adequate supply of clean glassware
• Knowledge and understanding of the restaurants food and beverage menu
• Serve customers promptly in a friendly manner
• Attend to all customer queries courteously and efficiently
• Ensure the barista area and restaurant is kept clean and tidy and organised
• Ensure all food, beverage and non-consumables are accounted for and charged accordingly
• Follow NZ Health and Safety regulations and Food Control Plan
• Be flexible in relation to working late night hours or additional hours other than your rostered times
• Ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws
• Attend staff meetings
