Job summary

Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre in Mount Wellington, Auckland, is seeking casual F&B Attendants to join the Wellingtons Restaurant team. You’ll deliver friendly, high-standard hospitality in a central yet peaceful setting near Panmure Lagoon.

Applicants should have a passion for customer service, the ability to multi-task under pressure, and the right to work in NZ. A rotating roster including days, evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• passion for customer service and high standards of service.
• Ideally experienced in all facets of restaurant service.
• Ability to multi-task with a can-do attitude.
• Keep a cool head whilst working under pressure.
• Able to work on a rotating roster covering days, evenings/nights & weekends.
• Available to start as soon as possible.
• LCQ and First Aid certification advantageous.
• Must have the right to work in NZ.

Responsibilities

• Ensure exceptional service in the restaurant and conference/banquets environment in line with Primeproperty standards.
• Help operate the restaurant efficiently to support revenue generation and guest satisfaction.
• Upsell opportunities to guests where appropriate.
• Stand and walk for extended periods to assist guests.
• Be flexible in location/team to deliver on F&B service requirements.

About the Job

• Is responsible for ensuring exceptional service is delivered to guests, within our restaurant and conference/banquets environment, in accordance with Primeproperty standards and house rules.
• Actively contributes to the efficient operation and revenue generation of the restaurant or conference by providing a high standard of customer service, cleanliness, food and beverage service, preparation and effective cash and card handling.
• Actively identifies opportunities to upsell
• Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period while accommodating guests effectively and politely.
• Is expected to be flexible in location/team, in order to most effectively deliver on our F&B service requirements.
