• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries and provide accurate, competitive quotes.
• Follow up opportunities and drive them through to close.
• Understand customer needs and use strong buying signals to secure the sale.
• Build strong relationships with customers, shipping lines and overseas agents.
• Negotiate costs to ensure quotes deliver required margins.
• Provide customers with compelling reasons to choose the business beyond price.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and hand over sales to operations smoothly.
• Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve the sales process.
• Contribute ideas and challenge existing ways of doing things where a better approach exists.
