Job summary

Team Global Express NZ is seeking a Freight Operator for our Nelson branch on the afternoon shift. In this hands-on role you’ll load and unload freight, scan, sort and keep everything moving safely and on time.

You’ll need a clean Full NZ Class 1 license, a forklift license with OSH cert, and ideally a Dangerous Goods endorsement. Join a high‑performing team in a national logistics company that values safety and teamwork.

Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

Afternoon Shift:

Monday – Friday 10.30am – 7.00pm

About The Role - Mō Te Tūranga

In this hands‑on role, you’ll be loading and unloading freight, scanning, sorting and keeping everything moving safely and on time. No two days are the same – its’ a fast‑paced, physical role where teamwork is key.

Key Duties

• Load and unload all freight safely and securely, for both road and rail units.
• Achieve branch operational objectives by using On-time to scan freight efficiently.
• Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and proficient manner.
• Maintain good working relationships.
• Communicate effectively within a team environment
