Job summary

Sime Darby Transport (NZ) Ltd is seeking a Distribution Store Person at our Wiri Distribution Centre to ensure products are received, stored, and dispatched with precision. You will manage inventory and coordinate deliveries to maintain supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities include picking, packing, inbound handling, stock checks, and maintaining health and safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Shift is Monday to Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm, with opportunities to contribute to a dynamic

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.
• Current forklift licence is required to operate equipment safely.
• Experience with a Gantry Crane is beneficial but not required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in daily tasks are critical.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to meeting daily targets.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders in a timely manner
• Handle inbound inventory, including receiving, quality checking, and stock put-away
• Support inventory management through cycle counts and stock adjustments
• Complete required documentation and system updates as needed
• Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Perform general warehouse duties as required
• Work efficiently to meet or exceed daily output targets
