Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport requirements alongside the current dispatcher.
• Assist with allocating work to drivers and ensure instructions are clear and accurate.
• Monitor jobs throughout the day and help manage changes, delays and operational issues.
• Communicate regularly with drivers.
• Liaise with customers regarding bookings and transport requirements.
• Keep the wider office team and management informed of significant operational issues.
• Use transport systems, online portals and fleet systems.
• Maintain clear and professional email communication.
• Record bookings, instructions and changes accurately.
• Help develop and document clear dispatch processes.
