Brett Marsh Transport Ltd in Tauranga is seeking a hands-on Dispatch Coordinator to join the team and work alongside the current dispatcher to coordinate daily truck and driver movements, ensuring customer requirements are met and information is communicated clearly.

This role includes improving dispatch processes, loading trucks with a forklift, and liaising with drivers and customers in a fast-paced transport operation that occasionally requires weekend work to support peaks.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required.

Job description

Working alongside the current dispatcher, you will help coordinate the daily movement of trucks and drivers, manage customer requirements and ensure information is communicated clearly and accurately. You will also play an important part in improving the way the dispatch office operates. This is a hands‑on operational role and will also include loading trucks using a forklift. The role will generally be Monday to Friday; however some weekend work will be required from time to time to support the operation.
