Job summary

RobLawMax Recruitment is partnering with a Christchurch-based civil construction client to recruit a Leading Hand/Site Foreman. You will lead on-site operations, support the Civil Supervisor, coordinate crews and plant, and drive productivity in a hands-on environment.

The role offers a pathway for progression from Leading Hand to Foreman, with an emphasis on site leadership, safety, and delivering projects to a high standard. Occasional travel may be required across the South Island.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years practical experience in civil construction or infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams on site.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
• Well organised, reliable, and able to use your initiative.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of projects on site.
• Assist with project administration including NTEs, reporting, and documentation.

We have an exciting opportunity has become available with one of our clients for an experienced Leading Hand/Site Foreman to join their civil construction team in Christchurch.

This role offers the chance to take on a key leadership position as second in charge, supporting the Civil Supervisor with the day-to-day running of projects. Youll be responsible for coordinating crews, maintaining productivity on site, and leading by example in a hands-on environment. Its a great opportunity for an experienced Leading Hand ready to progress, or an established Site Foreman looking for a new challenge.

What Youll Be Doing

Location
