The opportunityThis is an opportunity for an experienced Construction Manager, or Senior Project Manager to take genuine ownership of the Southern division, leading multiple civil construction and infrastructure projects.
Based in the Drury satellite office (with the flexibility to be based on the project site that best suits you) this role will suit an experienced construction leader who enjoys being close to the work, developing people and having real influence over how the operation performs.
You will take overall responsibility for the delivery and performance of approximately 5 - 6 projects across the Southern operation, managing a team of around 24 - 28 people with direct responsibility for 5 - 6 senior team members.
The Southern operation works with major developers and clients across Auckland and the wider region. You'll oversee a diverse portfolio of major, multi-year civil and land development projects with a strong pipeline of work ahead.

What you'll be responsible for
We're looking for a proven construction leader, or a Senior Project Manager with 15+ years’ experience in civil construction, infrastructure or land development.
You’ll bring:
A relevant tertiary qualification is welcomed, but experience and proven capability will be valued more highly than formal qualifications.
