Job summary

ALH Christchurch is seeking an experienced Foreman or Site Supervisor to run our Canterbury project sites in Christchurch. You will lead a team, coordinate trades, and ensure work is completed on schedule and to the required standard.

You will read plans, monitor safety, manage materials, and communicate with project managers and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• NZ Level 4 qualification.
• Current Site Safe Passport.
• Proven experience supervising or leading a team.
• Ability to read plans and understand project specifications.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating trades and subcontractors on site.
• Managing day-to-day site operations and workflow.
• Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Reading and working from plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Managing site materials, tools, and equipment.

• NZ Level 4 qualification
• Current Site Safe Passport
• Your own tools
• Proven experience supervising or leading a team
• Strong knowledge of site processes and health & safety requirements
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to read plans and understand project specifications
• A proactive, reliable, and solutions-focused attitude
• The ability to work independently and confidently manage site operations
