Job summary

Rosewood Matakauri is seeking Food & Beverage Attendants to join our luxury lodge team for the Oct/Nov 2026 start through April 2027. You will deliver memorable dining experiences, assist with guest requests and work across breakfast, lunch and dinner services.

We value hospitality passion, teamwork and impeccable presentation. A valid working holiday visa or NZ work rights is required, and you will need reliable transport to reach our private, remote location outside Queenstown.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality settings, delivering high levels of guest service.
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and courteously.
• Proven team player with flexible attitude and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Manage guest requests and preferences to ensure a memorable dining experience.
• Prepare dining areas to standard before each service and maintain cleanliness.
• Attend daily service briefings and stay informed on changing menus.
• Operate the POS system and ensure accurate transactions.
• Collaborate with kitchen and restaurant teams for cohesive service.
• Cover breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts as required.
• Prepare beverages including coffees and cocktails; assist wine service.
• Provide exceptional service aligned with Rosewood Matakauri standards.
