Job summary

Glenorchy Air is seeking a Flight Logistics and Ground Operations Coordinator for the Queenstown base to oversee customer experience and smooth ground operations during the summer peak. You will work closely with pilots, operations staff and guests to ensure seamless scenic flights.

The role is full-time and fixed-term for 6 months, offering varied days, on-site work in Queenstown, and comprehensive training. Prior aviation exposure is preferred; full NZ license is required for ground duties.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused hospitality/aviation experience highly regarded.
• Organised and detail-oriented with strong communication.
• Able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers before/after flights.
• Manage check-ins, bookings, and inquiries.
• Coordinate passengers, flight schedules and loadings.
• Support pilots and ground staff on the tarmac.
• Handle phone and email communications.
• Perform daily admin and operational tasks.
• Maintain a calm front-of-house environment.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Verify booking details to ensure smooth flights.
