Job summary

AssessAdvantage – Christchurch, South Island, is seeking a Service Sprinkler Technician. You will service sprinkler and fire protection systems, work on top sites and key accounts in the Southern region, and grow across all fire protection disciplines with ongoing training.

You will be a customer-focused, self-motivated team player who meets deadlines and contributes positively in a high-performing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with fire protection systems across design, installation and testing.
• Knowledge of applicable NZ fire safety regulations and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely and deliver quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Service sprinkler installations and ongoing maintenance on key accounts.
• Collaborate with team to deliver timely service on-site in the Southern region.
• Uplift skills across all aspects of fire protection systems.
• Maintain documentation and client communications to ensure satisfaction.

Argus Fire Protection is a well-known New Zealand company with over 40 years’ experience in the fire protection industry. We cover all aspects including fire system design, installation, and ongoing testing and maintenance of fire systems.

You will be working with a fantastic team of people and be working on some of the best sites and key accounts within the Southern region in our Christchurch branch.

The role will utilise your current skills while developing and upskilling you into all aspects of fire sprinklers and fire protection systems.

We are on the lookout for a customer-focused, self-motivated Service Sprinkler Technician who is passionate about delivering exceptional service to our clients.

What we’re looking for:

• Someone who works strategically has an eye for detail and is results-oriented
• You will have practical technical knowledge andunderstanding of Fire Protection systems of all types
• You will have worked in the industryfor at least five years
• Familiar with the regulations and installation techniques
• A high standard of Health & Safety, workmanship, and ethics
