Job summary

Argus Fire Protection is seeking a qualified Fire Alarm Technician to join our Waikato team. You will work on-site with a fantastic crew on key accounts, applying your expertise while expanding knowledge in fire alarm and protection systems.

The role emphasizes customer focus, attention to detail, and a strong safety ethic, with training opportunities and career growth within a well-established NZ company.

Qualifications

• Provide fire alarm and fire protection system services on site.

Argus Fire Protection is a well-known New Zealand company with over 40 years' experience in the fire protection industry. We cover all aspects, including fire system design, installation, and ongoing testing and maintenance of fire systems.

You’ll be working with a fantastic team of people and working on some of the best sites and key accounts within the Waikato Region. The role will utilise your current skills while developing and upskilling you into all aspects of fire alarm and fire protection systems.

We are on the lookout for a customer-focused, self-motivated technician who is passionate about delivering exceptional service to our clients.

What we’re looking for:

• Someone who works strategically, has an eye for detail, and is results-oriented
• A high standard of Health & Safety, Workmanship and Ethics.
• Being a positive, willing, contributing, and adaptable member of the team.
• Ability to work to deadlines and meet promises
• Experienced fire alarm tech.
• Practical technical knowledge andunderstanding of fire protection systems of all types,have worked in the industryfor some time, and know the regulations and standards, preferably with industry qualifications.
