Job summary

Hunter Campbell is assisting a private New Zealand business to recruit a Finance Business Partner in Auckland. This hands-on role will own the budgeting, reforecasting and reporting for multiple P&Ls, delivering complex CAPEX models and performance scorecards.

You will lead a small team, partner with non-finance stakeholders, and drive commercial outcomes in a practical, owner-operated environment.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification required.
• Practical, commercially minded, and comfortable in a private, owner-operated business.
• Ability to tell a story with the numbers.

The business Our client is a privately owned, New Zealand-owned services business with a national footprint and more than five decades of trading history. It operates across several business divisions, runs a lean head office function, and is known for a practical, no-nonsense culture. This is a genuinely commercial finance seat inside a business that still moves like the family enterprise it started as.

As the Finance Business Partner you will be the key finance stakeholder for operations and bring order and pace to a business with real complexity behind it.
You'll own a small, capable team and report into the GM Finance.
This is a hands-on role.
You'll be expected to drive outcomes, not just report on them.

What You'll Be Doing

What we're looking for

• Experience with modern ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365) is an advantage
