Job summary

Woolworths Group NZ is seeking an Operations Lead to manage processes and stock across our Auckland stores. You will coordinate the swarm, ensure timely task completion, and uphold store standards while coaching team members.

You will lead on‑job training, promote a safe work environment, and collaborate with store leadership to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement. Candidates should be able to work weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in process excellence and continuous learning.
• Ability to lead and coach teams, monitor progress, and motivate staff.
• Strong compliance knowledge and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Execute Operations & Stock Management: Ensure accurate and timely completion of routines, leading the swarm to handle tasks and overseeing teams filling shelves and managing deliveries.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead on‑job training and coaching for team members, and champion a safe and healthy work environment.
• Maintain Store Standards: Ensure the evening team fill to correct standards, prioritise shelf‑friendly packaging, and manage overstocks effectively.
• Resolve Issues Proactively: Timely escalate process related issues to the Function Lead for resolution.
• Contribute to Store Leadership: Step up as Acting Store Manager on scheduled shifts and actively participate in Better Together connections to foster team collaboration.
