Job summary

Norwood is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our Pukekohe team. You will service and repair agricultural, construction, and industrial machinery, diagnose faults and complete precise documentation while working closely with parts, sales and service colleagues.

You’ll travel to customer sites, provide on‑site troubleshooting and ensure high-quality outcomes. A heavy vehicle trade qualification or 3+ years’ experience is preferred, with strong fault‑finding and customer‑facing

Qualifications

• Heavy automotive trade qualification and/or 3+ years’ experience in repairs and servicing of heavy machinery.
• Experience working on agricultural, construction, industrial or similar heavy equipment.
• Strong fault-finding skills and practical approach to mechanical challenges.
• Computer skills including use of OEM diagnostic software.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain agricultural, construction and industrial machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic faults.
• Complete service reports and job documentation accurately.
• Collaborate with parts, sales and service teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
• Build strong customer relationships through clear communication and reliable service.
