Job summary

Crown Lift Trucks New Zealand in Palmerston North is seeking a field- and workshop-based technician to repair and maintain a large forklift fleet. You will work with a mix of mechanical battery electric and internal combustion forklifts, training materials available, and travel within your assigned area as needed.

This permanent, full-time role offers Monday–Friday hours with on-call duties, potential paid overtime, and a supportive team within a large organisation, with opportunities to learn

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience with Material Handling Equipment or Auto Electrical / Battery Electric / Motor Mechanic work.
• Trade qualification or hydraulics experience preferred.
• Customer-focused and solutions-oriented attitude; ability to work in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Perform field- or site-based repairs and maintenance on forklifts.
• Repair and service a large fleet across your assigned area and in our workshop.
• Travel as required and participate in on-call duties.
