Job summary

Ryan Recruitment in Christchurch, Canterbury, is seeking an experienced Site Foreman / Supervisor to lead fencing projects from start to finish. You will be on the tools, manage a crew, coordinate resources and ensure safety, efficiency and quality across residential, rural, and commercial fencing works.

This role requires practical leadership, strong communication and problem-solving, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Have experience leading teams within fencing, civil construction, landscaping, or a related outdoor construction environment.
• Hold a relevant trade qualification or demonstrate significant industry experience
• Hold a full, clean New Zealand driver's licence - must be able to drive manual
• Have proven experience managing projects and coordinating site operations
• Demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• Show a practical, solution-focused approach with a commitment to quality workmanship

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Site Foreman / Supervisor to lead fencing projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for a practical leader who enjoys being on the tools, managing a team, coordinating resources, and ensuring every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

You'll oversee a variety of projects including residential fencing, rural fencing, gates, security fencing, and commercial installations throughout Canterbury.
