We are looking for an experienced Foreman to join our Management Team.
This is a hands-on position based on-site, working closely with the crew and keeping projects moving from the ground up.
Our work has a strong focus on concrete pathways, decks, handrails, fencing and basic soft landscaping.
This role includes the day-to-day running of a team on site including directing staff, liaising with suppliers, booking deliveries, working with subcontractors and managing basic health and safety requirements to support each project.
You'll lead a base team of 3-4 staff, with the team size expanding as needed. You'll work directly with the company director and clients, ensuring each job is completed efficiently, safely and to a high standard.
Many of our projects involve transforming existing spaces into more user-friendly environments, so there's plenty of room for creative thinking and practical problem-solving.
To put it simply, you'll need to have hands-on experience in all aspects of hard landscaping, be confident managing staff day-to-day and be happy to get on the tools when needed to keep things moving.
At Big Mals, we place a strong emphasis on teamwork, communication and respect; old-school values with a new-school approach.
You'll be supported by a small but effective admin team, and will report directly to the Company Director.
You're looking to join a tight-knit, hard-working team and be involved in great projects with plenty of variety, we'd love to hear from you.
