Job summary

Huka Lodge in Taupo is seeking a Breakfast & Lunch Supervisor to lead our F&B team through busy morning service and relaxed daytime dining. You’ll ensure smooth service, guest satisfaction, and collaborative floor leadership.

You will showcase local produce and NZ wines, support the Restaurant Manager with briefings and flow, and work closely with the kitchen to maintain seamless operations. This daytime role offers a high-end lodge environment and steady schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising F&B teams in luxury settings.
• Knowledge of NZ wines and food service standards.
• Willing to obtain an LCQ and lead by example.

BREAKFAST & LUNCH SUPERVISOR WANTED – HUKA LODGE, TAUPŌ

Love a buzzing morning service? Huka Lodge has been welcoming guests on the banks of the Waikato River for over a century, and we’re looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead our team!

From leisurely breakfasts by the river to relaxed lunches around the lodge, you’ll be the one setting the tone for our guests’ day, keeping service smooth and the team firing.

What you’ll be up to:

• Leading, training and motivating the F&B team during service
• Delivering warm, personalised service that kicks off our guests’ day right
• Sharing local produce, seasonal menus and great NZ wines with guests
• Helping the Restaurant Manager with briefings and service flow
• Teaming up with the kitchen to keep everything seamless
• Lending a hand with stock, ordering and costs

What we’re after:

• Supervisor experience in a luxury hotel, lodge or fine dining restaurant
• Strong food and beverage knowledge, including NZ wine
• A confident leader who leads by example on the floor
• An eye for detail and a love of looking after people
• Your LCQ, or happy to get one
• Flexibility for a rotating roster, including weekends
• Current NZ working rights – working holiday visa holders welcome!
