Job summary

Haddad Kebab & Takeaway in Auckland is seeking reliable Fast Food Cooks to join our team on a full-time basis (minimum 30 hours per week). You will work in a busy kitchen delivering kebabs and takeaway foods with consistency.

The role offers training, no prior experience required, and the ability to develop practical cooking skills while contributing to friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No qualification or previous work experience is required - full training will be provided.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced takeaway environment.
• Good time management, communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
• Willingness to work rostered shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Taking and serving customer orders, handling payments and providing friendly customer service.
• Preparing and cooking kebabs, burgers, rolls, snack packs and other takeaway foods.
• Washing, cutting, measuring and mixing ingredients for food preparation.
• Operating cooking equipment, including grills, microwaves and deep-fat fryers.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils.
• Assisting with the arrangement of takeaway and delivery orders as required.
• Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Performing other reasonable duties as required for the smooth operation of the business.
